TOSA
EUROPE today is a new E-magazine
dedicated to the Tosa breed. In our modest opinion there is no
general source of information on a regular basis about the
Tosa in Europe. Our plans are to issue a bi-monthly Internet
magazine featuring the latest news on as much facets of the
breed as possible. Breeding, showing, breeders introductions,
owners-stories, studdogs, famous & historic dogs etc.
We
want to bring you the most interesting news on our fantastic
breed, so if you want to be up to date on Europe’s Tosa news
then subscribe to our FREE newsletter. The newsletter will be
published in English but Google Translator translates the
newsletter in your language!

Frozen semen Thor
Our black male Thor is now also available for breeding worldwide via frozen semen.

Puppy-male available!
Our friends of kennel Malizi Doghouse in the Czech Republic have a beautiful, 9 weeks old puppy-male available for a good home. We can recommend this puppy with full confidence.  A King
We received this picture of King, a.k.a. Megasthenes Gaucho King, a son of Ekkie and Gulch from 2006 and thus a brother of our Storm.
He sure looks like a King!
Megasthenes puppies born!
On 28th October 2010, the litter of Nashira and Abenji was born.
Four beautiful girls: 3 reds and 1 black and tan.

Kenzo at the Bundessieger, Dortmund
Megasthenes Intrepid, , aka. Kenzo, owned by Udo and Heike, was entered at the Bundessieger and National Show in Dortmund, Germany.
He obtained the 1st place in his Class (Young Dogs) at both shows.
Congratulations to Udo and Heike on these great results!
Kenzo is a son of Toshi's Tar Heel and V-Gulch Du Center Club Moloss Wolf.
 Beer in LINDA magazine
In the October issue of the glossy magazine LINDA by Linda de Mol, our home-bred Megasthenes Iron Heels, aka Beer (Toshi's Tar Heel x V-Gulch) is featured with a short story told by her owners.
We are excited that Beer had the honour to be chosen for this article; it was meant to show that dogs with a somewhat "wrong" image in reality often are "just" teddy-bears.

Show Luxembourg
On September 5, we drove to the International Dog Show in Luxembourg.
There were 6 Tosa's registered for the Czech judge Mrs. Olga Dolejsova; unfortunately 2 of them were not there.
Nashira became Best Female in the Championsclass and with this result she became Luxembourg Champion.
Best of Breed went to the Belgian male Ividockai.

Results Lokerense Winner
On Sunday July 18, we travelled to a very sunny Lokeren in Belgium. Just 2 Tosa's were entered at this very nice show.
Judging was Mr. V. van Raamsdonk because the Spanish judge Mr. Malo Alcrudo had cancelled his judging appointment. In the heat he made Nashira Best Of Breed; she now has 2 points for her Belgian Championship.
The results:
- Championsclass Females: Dyashida Tosakengolds, owner: R.M. Schol & M. Schrieken, 1-Exc CAC & Best Of Breed.
- Openclass Females: Nihon Koku's Benihime, owner: A.M.A. van Zon, 1-Exc RCAC.
Results show Lommel
On Sunday June 14th, we were present at the Dogshow in Lommel at the sportcenter "De Soeverein", Belgium.
Judging was Mr. P. van Montfoort (NL).
Nashira became Best of Breed.
- Openclass Females: Nihon Koku's Benihime, owner: A.M.A. van Zon, 1-U ResCAC.
- Championsclass Females: Dyashida Tosakengolds, owner: R.M. Schol, 1-U CAC & Best Of Breed.
Gini & Izzy
On June 6, 2010, two of our homebred dogs were entered at the show in Klatovy, Czech Republic.
Izzy (Invasor) and Gini, a littersister of our Storm, owned by Malizi Doghouse Tosa's. For Gini this was her debut at a dogshow.
The results were excellent: Izzy became Czech Junior Champion and Gini became National Winner (CAC) and BOB (Best of Breed)!
With this title Izzy has added his 7th Junior title in a row to his palmares.
Congratulations go to Martina and Thomas (Maegashira Tosa's) and Kristyna (Malizi Doghouse Tosa's)!
Bear
We regularly receive updates from Limburg, where Megasthenes Iron Heels (or Bear for her friends) lives with her family.

Clubshow Swiss Molosser Club
On April 25, 2010 our Nashira competed in Switzerland at the Clubshow of the Swiss Molosser Club in Langenthal.
She became Best Of Breed (BOB) and Swiss Clubsieger 2010 under judge Mr. P. Roosenboom (B).
An excellent result and we are very proud of our girl.
Megasthenes Invasor
Megasthenes Invasor (Izzy), owned by Maegashira Tosa's in the Czech Republic is already very succesful at a young age.
On April 3 & 4, 2010 he was entered in the Duo CACIB show in Miskolc, Hungary. There he became Best Junior at both days, a great achievement.
On April 11, 2010 Izzy was entered in Ostrava, Czech Republic. Here he also gained the title Best Junior under strong competition.
 Invasor gained also on the 17th and 18 April 2010 excellent results, this time in Serbia. On both days he became Best Of Breed (BOB) and thus gained 2 points to become Serbian Junior Champion.

Show Leeuwarden
On Monday April 5th, we attended the Eastershow in the FEC Expo Center in Leeuwarden. Just 2 Tosa's were entered for this nice show, judging was Mr. V. van Raamsdonk.
Our Nashira, entered in the Openclass, gained the qualification 1-Exc. CAC/CACIB and BOB. Because she is now old enough now (27 months), Nashira became Dutch Champion with this result. She had an excellent judging report and we are very proud of her achievements.
The other dog was Boeddha Du Center Club Moloss, owned by M. Heiwegen and W. Jansen; in the Youth Class he gained 1-Exc. & CAC.

embroidered on it.

CAC show in Brno
We received the following news from Czech:
At the Duo CAC Show at Brno, Czech Republic (35
entries) the young male Megasthenes Invasor
(Thor x Gulch) became "Best Junior".

Tar Heel" and dam "Junji Tosa
Centrum". 11 Puppies were born: 8 are jetblack, 1 is black and tan and 2 are
darkreds.
